Are you looking for a chic experience in a small boutique hotel? Do you find comfort in the big chains and like to stick to that route? If you’re planning a weekend getaway the perfect way to figure out what you are looking for is by taking our traveler’s questionnaire. We’ll help you find the best stay that fits your style!
The Dwell Hotel is a well-recommended place of stay if you’re looking for a chic mid-century modern boutique hotel that offers style and a luxurious feel. If even more exciting is their decor for each of their 16 rooms, no two rooms are the same. You have the ability to pick the theme that fits your getaway best. Three of our favorite rooms in regards to unique decor are The Palm Springs, The Flamingo, and The Europa.

Eat
As Chattanoogan’s one of the biggest challenges as trip planners are providing the top food places in the city. Every food preference differs and with so many amazing chefs that originate and curate here in Chattanooga there are so many choices! A great problem to have considering we are always one of the top-rated cities for foodies. So… with no hesitation, we give you a day of food for your visit to our fine city.
Breakfast:
The Daily Ration has one of the best brunches in town. Fantastic lunch choices for our friends who aren’t the biggest fan of breakfast food but plenty of the classic breakfast choices for my fellow brunch enthusiasts. Our favorite menu item is their chicken sandwich with their signature buffalo sauce and home fries, you won’t regret it if you’re a fried chicken sandwich lover.
Lunch:
When looking for a great lunch head downtown to Warehouse Row where Tupelo Honey is located. With plenty of southern options created by award-winning chef Eric Gabrynowicz, this is a great stop if you’re craving southern food ranging from pulled pork grilled cheese to bourbon peppercorn glazed meatloaf. Some of our favorites are the Crispy Brussel Sprouts as an appetizer and the Fried Cauliflower Tacos that features fried Jalapeno’s and sriracha honey (yum!)
Dinner:
If you find yourself walking by Puckett’s Grocery & Restaurant you’ll likely hear some great tunes spilling out the door, as well as people. Fridays and Saturdays are a hit spot by the locals for their weekly performers and their flavorful southern food. Looking for a great recommendation? Get the Whiskey Platter, don’t get too excited, this isn’t a flight of whiskey. It’s actually one of their dinner options with your choice of either Salmon Fillet or Chicken smothered in a whiskey glaze served up with Steamed broccoli and smashed sweet potato (one of our favorites!).
Experience
Whether you crave an outdoor adventure in the wilderness or a calm day in the city bustle Chattanooga is a worthy contender in a list of the top versatile cities in the south. There may not be a beach but head to the top of Signal Mountain and you’ll find a short hike to the top of a 100 ft waterfall. Extra points for you if you go after it has rained a few inches as this is the perfect time to see the sheer beast of this waterfall. Be careful as the current can be quite strong and the rocks are not slip friendly, obviously, wear the appropriate gear. More of a city slicker? Take a walk through Chattanooga’s downtown region. Start at Coolidge Park on the Northshore, grab a coffee, and head south across the pedestrian bridge. Walk your way through the city stopping to view the rock climbers, the vintage enthusiast, and the bookshops along the way. By the end of the walk, you’ll have reached the neighborhood of Southside and enjoy a few drinks at the near by watering holes.
